For those of you that are new to electronics, here is a set of steps (a design method) that can save you a significant amount of re-design time.

Step 1 - Requirements:
This design will allow the user to operate a flip flop with visual indicators.

Step 3 - Partitioning:
Since this project is small there is no need to split the project up into smaller portions or decide which functions are software and hardware. However, we will break up this project into the following sections to set a path:

- Introduction
- Explanation
- Operation
- Physical
- Layout
- Interconnections
- Assembly

Step 4 - Prototype:
The prototype will be laid out on perforated circuit board with 0.1” hole centers.

Step 5 - Production:
The prototype will be the last step. This kit will not involve layout, design fo test or assembly.........
