Wings of Technology announced today that it is now shipping VeroCAD V3.4. This product addresses the design-to-layout issue for prototyping with perforated circuit boards. The software provides the capabilities needed to select, place and reposition components, verify physical limits and significantly improve the time to assemble.

Richard C. Dean, president of Wings of Technology - Research and Development, said, "The early adopters of VeroCAD not only benefited from gaining an early start over the rest of the industry, but they also were able to contribute to this product's development. This is in keeping with Wings of Technology's long history of listening to what our customers need and providing them with solutions to meet the ever-changing demands of their industry. We believe that VeroCAD 3.4 is the most advanced perforated board design software offered by any vendor in the marketplace ever."

VeroCAD 3.4 Key Features
Most of the VeroCAD 3.4 features center on board layout and design. The package includes a component library and a component editor. When the design layout is complete, a label can be printed, then applied to the perforated circuit board for quick and accurate component placement. The completed design can also be exported to a net list for use in PCB design suites.

VeroCAD Gains Commercial Momentum
"We are excited with the acceptance of VeroCAD in the marketplace," Richard said. Currently, more than 165 customers are using VeroCAD. VeroCAD customers include owner/operators, engineering companies, entrepreneurs and hobbyists in all regions of the world. The customers are in various stages of implementation from pilot projects to production.
